Boise State defensive end Kaleb Hill announced his intention to transfer to Texas Tech on Wednesday. The 6-foot-1, 227-pound defender is the twin brother of current Red Raider linebacker Kolin Hill, who also transferred to the South Plains following a stint at Notre Dame.

Hill appeared in one game last season for the Broncos. He should have two years of eligibility remaining after sitting out the 2016 season due to NCAA transfer rules.

Rivals.com ranked Hill a three-star prospect in the class of 2014. He chose Boise State over offers from Colorado, Nevada, UTSA and Vanderbilt.
