... Ojo also has offers from Baylor, SMU, Lamar, Texas State, North Texas, Houston, Tennessee, Oklahoma, TCU, Arkansas, Alabama, California, and Texas A&M.

... He also plays basketball and competes in track for the Eagles.

Rivals Camp Dallas: "The Rivals Camp was good. It was an excellent chance to compete against some of the best in my class. I felt like I showed my athleticism, my pass rush capabilities. Even though I didn't have one of my best days, I still showed some pretty good talent."

The recruiting process: "I visited Alabama, SMU, Baylor, Arkansas, OU, Texas, TCU, Houston. I visited all those schools. It's just a blessing to be honest. The recruiting process has been picking up a lot, and I’m just taking it all in and living out one of the many goals I’ve set as a kid."

Receiving an offer from Texas Tech: "It was great knowing that the coaching staff believed in me and was one of the first schools to give me a chance."

Texas Tech visit: "It was nice. It was not that far from home. Just knowing Texas Tech produces offensive lineman. Someone who used to go to my school (Caleb Rogers) goes there right now, starts there, and just having that relationship with Texas Tech is nice. My favorite part of the visit was watching them practice and interact with the players."

Connection with Caleb Rogers: "Caleb Rogers, that's my guy right there. He talks about like how if I go to Texas Tech they'll sit down and develop me. They'll just produce me into a top tier offensive lineman."

Connection with the TTU coaching staff: "I talked to almost every coach while I was there, and I was able to build a great relationship with all of them. Coach (James) Blanchard, I have a good relationship with him. It was nice meeting him, talking to him. Talked to him about like the offense and everything they run at Texas Tech. I also communicate with head coach Joey McGuire a lot."

Overall thoughts on Texas Tech: "My overall thoughts on Texas Tech are that it has a nice campus, its facilities are great, and it has a history of producing some good linemen.

Texas Tech football is a great program overall, and I can’t wait to see where they will be in the next couple of years by the time I make my decision about where I’m going."

Distance from home a factor? "Right now I'm open to going anywhere. I'd prefer to stay close to home but at the end of the day it's like 'what program wants me the most?'. That's gonna be the main factor in my decision."

Camps this coming off-season: "I'm hitting up the Alabama camp, Georgia camp, Tennessee camp, OU camp and like a couple more."

Last season: "Last season, we went 0-10, but the team we are building right now is looking good, and we are only getting better by the day. We have some great pieces that could help us go to state this year."
