2026 Highland (UT) Lone Peak defensive end Bott Mulitalo II is one of the elite prospects in his class, ranked as a four-star recruit and the No. 4 overall player in the state of Utah.

Last week Mulitalo II made the trip out to West Texas to visit and camp with outside linebackers coach C.J. Ah You and the Red Raiders.

Following the trip Mulitalo II spoke with RedRaiderSports to break down the visit and give the latest in his recruitment.

... As a sophomore Mulitalo II was credited with 34 tackles, 11 TFL's, 8.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles in just 6 games played per his MaxPreps page

... Following his sophomore season Mulitalo II was named Deseret News 2023 6A All-State Second Team

Texas Tech unofficial visit: "When I arrived there it was late so I went straight to my hotel. When we got up the next morning we did like a school tour at eight in the morning, and I got to meet some of the players and coaches and see how they breakdown film and how their weightlifting program is. We got to see the cafeteria and meet the nutritionist. After that we went back to the hotel and got some rest before we headed back for the camp later on that day.

My favorite part of the visit was probably getting to watch film with Coach C.J. (Ah You) and meeting the head coach going over what kind of culture they have. What really stood out to me was when the head coach was talking to my mom he said that he will take care of me like I’m his own, and that really stood out to me. It plays a big part of where I’m gonna go because I want to feel like home."
