To say 10-0 Texas Tech fell flat on their face against Oklahoma in Norman as the No.2 ranked team in the country in 2008 would be pretty accurate. But if you were at Gaylord Memorial that night, you can certainly understand why.

Regardless, Tech had to find a way to put the loss behind them, as they had one final contest left on the regular season slate: Senior Day in Lubbock against a 4-7 Baylor team, the first team of Art Briles' tenure in Waco, in fact.

And despite it being the final time that many storied seniors within the program would step onto the turf at Jones Stadium, the Red Raiders came out of the gates fairly flat, falling behind 21-14 going into the half and 28-14 when Baylor's Jacoby Jones ran in for a one yard touchdown with just over 11 minutes to go in the third quarter.

At that point, Graham Harrell and the Tech offense found their footing, and Darcel McBath and the Raider defense shored things up.

Tech would go on a 21-0 run to complete the comeback for the regular season-finishing 11th win, capped off by a 4 yard touchdown pass from Harrell to Detron Lewis with just over 6 minutes left to seal the deal.

Harrell finished the game going 41 of 50 for 309 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception, but what no one knew during the game was that the senior signal caller had shattered two fingers in his non-throwing hand in the first half.

Team doctors X-rayed the QB during halftime and told him he was done for the day. Harrell refused to come out of his final home game, however, taping up and going out to make the second half comeback.

His gutsy efforts on that day were a fitting end to his career at Jones Stadium, and Harrell remains as the winningest QB of the Air Raid era.
