The Texas Tech coaching staff is preparing for the upcoming season, regardless of the changes or new approach due to COVID, the program addressed several needs on the roster with over 30 new additions of scholarship and walk-on athletes.

The program released the updated official roster last week, and the RedRaiderSports team looked through the roster to hand out some superlatives for the following categories...

Mr. TTU - the player who comes to mind when you think about Texas Tech football, the ambassador for the program

Fastest - pretty self explanatory, but who did we think is the fastest player on the TTU roster

Mean Mug - players have a choice when taking these composite pictures, smile or mean mug, so we choose the best mean mug of them all

Offensive Newcomer - the 2020 signee our team thinks will have the biggest impact this year

Offensive Newcomer (RS) - the 2019 signee that took a redshirt season and will have the biggest impact this year

Offensive Newcomer (Transfer) - the transfer addition that will have the biggest impact this year

Defensive Newcomer - the 2020 signee our team thinks will have the biggest impact this year

Defensive Newcomer (RS) - the 2019 signee that took a redshirt season and will have the biggest impact this year

Defensive Newcomer (Transfer) - the transfer addition that will have the biggest impact this year
