Nearly a week ago, the Texas Tech coaching staff received a welcomed surprise when Sam Rayburn 2018 running back Stanley Hackett verbally committed to the Red Raiders.

On Tuesday afternoon, I had the opportunity to visit Sam Rayburn and watch Hackett go through practice with his teammates.
