Red Raiders land commitment from Rivals100 RB

Rivals100 running back Stanley Hackett, a 2018 prospect, announced his commitment to Texas Tech on Thursday.
The 6-foot-3, 193-pound standout chose the Red Raiders over an offer from Tulsa and interest from several in-state programs. He was offered by running backs coach DeShaun Foster in late July.

Hackett's commitment is Texas Tech's second 2018 pledge in the last week, as Giddings wide receiver Treveon Johnson joined the program's class on Aug. 6.
Rivals.com ranks Hackett as the No. 93 overall prospect in the 2018 class.
