National Signing Day is only two days away, the culmination and bookend on the 2017 recruiting cycle, which for some signees lasted nearly three years. Take a look back at the journey as we chronicle the major offers, commits, and events along the way.

2014

June 4- Texas Tech offers four star OL and legacy Jack Anderson.

2015

March 7- Jack Anderson and RB Eno Benjamin visit Lubbock.

March 23- Texas Tech offers four star Bullard TE Major Tennison.

April 15- Texas Tech offers Cedar Hill teammates WR Charleston Rambo and WR Camron Buckley.

May 8- Texas Tech begins identifying QBs. Tech extends an offer to three star Mexia QB Jaylon Gipson and four star IMG Academy QB Kellen Mond.

July 17- Texas Tech offers Cibolo Steele QB Xavier Martin.

July 27- Martin becomes commit number 1 for the Red Raiders.

August 25- Tech offers Mansfield RB Kennedy Brooks.

October 5- Jack Anderson commits to Texas Tech, becoming commit number two for the 2017 class.

October 22- Texas Tech offers Round Rock OL Tyler Castaneda.

October 23- Castaneda becomes commit number three for the Red Raiders.

October 27- Texas Tech offers Lubbock Cooper S Ty Thomas.

December 9- Texas Tech extends offer to Frisco OL Dawson Deaton. RBs coach Mike Jinks is hired as the new head coach of Bowling Green.

December 10- Texas Tech picks up commitment number four from Waxahachie WR Jalen Reagor.

2016

January 20- Texas Tech announces the hire of RB coach Jabbar Juluke.

February 8- Teammates Jack Anderson and Dawson Deaton make visits down to Lubbock.

February 13- Jabbar Juluke leaves the Texas Tech staff to join the staff at LSU.

February 16- Dawson Deaton commits to Texas Tech, becoming commit number five and offensive line commit number three.

March 2- Texas Tech announces the hire of RBs coach DeShaun Foster.

March 10- WR Jalen Reagor decommits from Texas Tech.

March 29- OL Tyler Castaneda decommits from Tech.

April 1- Bellaire DT Jayden Peevy receives an offer from Tech.

April 20- Texas Tech offers three star OLB Marqez Bimage.

April 21- Texas Tech offers three star OL Jared Hocker.

April 28- Texas Tech extends an offer to Angleton DB Quincy Addison.

May 13- Texas Tech hosts Birdville OL Jared Hocker, Kimball DB Devodrick Johnson, Denton OL Grant Polley and Angleton DB Quincy Addison for unofficial visits. Texas Tech also extends offers to Butler CC LB Tony Jones and SA Reagan OL Derek Kerstetter.

May 14- Angleton DB Quincy Addison commits to the Red Raiders just one day after visiting Lubbock.

May 17- Texas Tech extends an offer to Round Rock DE James Lynch.

May 18- Cedar Hill OLB Dmitri Moore receives an offer from Texas Tech.

May 21- Texas Tech receives a commitment from Oak Ridge WR Bronson Boyd. Boyd flipped to the Red Raiders from Houston.

June 3- Texas Tech offers Farmington OL Dylan Weaver.

June 7- Texas Tech adds a commitment from Plano OL Casey Verhulst after he visits Lubbock.

June 10- Texas Tech has a huge day on the O-line, earning a commitment from OL Will Farrar, who had been committed to UCLA, as well as OL Jared Hocker and OL Dylan Weaver.

June 11- Texas Tech picks up commitment number ten from George Ranch DB Adam Beck.

June 17- Texas Tech picks up commit number eleven as Eisenhower DB Adrian Frye commits to the Red Raiders shortly after camping with them in Houston.

June 20- Tech picks up commitment number twelve from Muskogee DB Kamren Curl.

August 1- Texas Tech picks up a commitment from Euless Trinity DB John Davis.

September 20- Texas Tech picks up a commitment from Rancho Bernardo CC RB Tyree Range.

October 3- Tech extends offer to Sachse LB Riko Jeffers.

October 17- Texas Tech hosts Jeffers on an official visit.

October 22- Texas Tech hosts DE Nelson Mbanasor on an official visit.

October 23- Texas Tech adds Snow College (Utah) punter Dominic Panazzolo. The switch foot, rugby style punter becomes commit number thirteen for the Red Raiders.

October 26- DB Kamren Curl announces his decommitment from Tech.

October 28- Riko Jeffers is commit number fourteen for Texas Tech. picking Tech over offers from Colorado, Oklahoma State and Kansas State among others.

November 1- Texas Tech picks up commit number fifteen from Plugerville Hendrickson DE Nelson Mbanasor.

November 8- Texas Tech offers JUCO OL Robert Valencia.

November 15- Texas Tech offers Abilene RB Abram Smith.

December 4- Texas Tech picks up commitments from JUCO QB McLane Carter and JUCO Safety Vaughnte Dorsey after their weekend visit to Lubbock.

December 8- Texas Tech receives a commitment from JUCO RB Desmond Nisby.

December 9 -The Red Raiders host JUCO mid-year enrollees Tony Jones, Jaylon Lane, and Octavious Morgan on official visits.

December 11- Texas Tech receives commit number eighteen from Butler CC LB Tony Jones. Jones chose Texas Tech over offers from Louisville and Baylor.

December 14- Texas Tech picks up commitments from three JUCO players on mid-year signing day: Independence CC CB Jaylon Lane, Butler CC CB Octavious Morgan and Long Beach CC OL Jacob Hines. RB Tyree Range decommits from the Red Raiders.

December 15- Dylan Weaver decommits from Tech.

December 17- Texas Tech receives commitment number twenty-two from East Mississippi CC LB Dakota Allen. Allen returns to the Red Raiders after being dismissed in the spring of 2016.

2017

January 19th- Texas Tech has thirteen early enrollees report for classes. This includes Frisco OL Jack Anderson, Butler CC LB Tony Jones, Independence C.C. CB Octavious Morgan and Cibolo Steele QB Xavier Martin among others.

January 20- Commit Adam Beck visits Minnesota and decommits from Tech. Tech hosts George Ranch CB Samuel Barnes on an official visit.

January 21- Texas Tech announces the departures of RB coach DeShaun Foster (UCLA) and OL coach Lee Hays.

January 24- Tech announces the hire of former Cal OL coach Brandon Jones to the same position.

January 27- Texas Tech hosts DE David Anehih and S Elijah Walker on official visits.

January 28- It is first reported that their was an incident the previous night involving OL Will Farrar and WR Bronson Boyd. It is later announced that Boyd is no longer a member of the football team.

February 1 - National Signing Day
