Moore felt at home with Texas Tech

Instead of being in Phoenix, Arizona making an official visit to Arizona State on Thursday, Lafayette (Louisiana) Acadiana three-star outside linebacker Kevin Moore decided to pull the trigger and commit to Texas Tech.
"I feel like it's a perfect place for me," Moore said. "They showed how I can use my skills and they explained how they would use me."

The three-star recruit, which held 15 offers, just liked Texas Tech and the whole atmosphere around Lubbock. That, and his relationship with cornerbacks coach Kevin Curtis.
"I have a great relationship with Coach (Kevin) Curtis, he's a great recruiter," Moore said. "We have great conversations every day."
Along with the relationship with Curtis, Moore said the location, coaching staff, and players also played a role in his decision to make it official with Texas Tech. With his decision now in the books, the Lafayette Arcadiana defender is just ready to move forward and get ready to rock the scarlet and black.
"I'm ready," he said. "I was extremely excited, and now that I made my decision I'm just ready to ball my senior year and head to college."
Moore committed to Texas Tech on Thursday night over offers from Arizona State, Cal, Kansas State, Louisville, Miami, Oklahoma State, and others.
