Relationship with the TTU coaches: "They offered me last Fall and that was my first offer. I usually talk with Coach (Dave) Martin, Coach (Brian) Nance, Coach (Joey) McGuire and I have started talking with Coach (Shiel) Wood the new Defensive Coordinator. We have mostly talked about his system on defense, what the linebackers do in the 3-4 formation and it is kind of like what we run at Bixby."
TTU Junior Day visit: "It was great, we went around and toured their new facilities. It was really cool, because I had been on campus before a few times but the facilities were still being built and they are great. The new locker rooms, the recovery room and the weight room were all really nice.
"I also talked with some of the players, talked with them about their experience playing and being a student athlete at Texas Tech."
Visit continued: "The coaches also took us to see where the players live and it was all very nice. After that, the coaches took us to the Men's basketball game and on the way we got to see the arena and the campus. It was cool to see the campus and some of the areas that I had not seen before."
Thoughts on Texas Tech: "I feel like I have a real opportunity to play as a freshman there. I have been there to visit five (5) times now, two (2) camps and two (2) games and now the Junior Day visit."
Major in mind: "I would like to won my own business one day, so I'm looking at the Business School at each program that I visit or look into."
Other visits: "I have official visits scheduled to Oklahoma State and Utah for now. I'm planning to visit Kansas and TCU, but I do not have anything setup. I haven't talked with the Texas Tech coaches about an official visit but should talk with them sometime soon."
Decision timeline: "I would like to take my visits, then make my decision sometime during the summer or before our Fall camp starts."
