Result: Steele defeated Austin Vandegrift 17-0

Recap: Martin was 15 of 19 for 119 yards and a touchdown (20 yards out). He was limited on the ground, carrying the ball eight times for a yard. The Steele defense came to play shutting out Vandegrift and limiting them to only 86 yards of total offense.

Results: The Woodlands defeated Sachse 51-40

Recap: The Sachse defense gave up 363 total yards and 20 first downs. However, Jeffers and the front seven were able to limit The Woodlands to 89 rushing yards on 31 carries (2.9ypc).

Sachse outgained The Woodlands 532-363 and stormed back from a 14-0 1st quarter deficit to cling to a 40-38 lead with eight minutes left in the contest, but it was not enough.

Results: Ryan defeated Richland 34-13

Recap: Douglas hauled in six catches for 77 yards. Ryan rolled up 573 yards on the night, despite committing 10 penalties for 112 yards.

Results: Angleton lost to Dripping Springs 12-11

Recap: The Angleton defense gave up 308 yards but held held Drippings to a 3.9 ypc average and only 50 percent completion percentage.

After a scoreless 1st quarter, Dripping Springs got on the board first with a TD, but the extra point was blocked and was returned 98 yards for the two-point Angleton score. Angleton clung to an 11-6 lead late in the fourth but gave up a 15-yard TD pass with only :04 seconds left on the clock, ending Angleton's season.

Next week: Angleton finished their season with a 9-3 record.

Results: Giddings defeated Hardin-Jefferson 28-21

Recap: Johnson rushed once for six yards and a score, while also catching one pass for 37 yards.

Results: Riverside defeated Saddleback 49-38

Recap: Range recorded a tackle in the win. He did not record an offensive stat. As a team, Riverside rushed the ball 59 times for 289 yards.

Season stats: Anderson and Deaton helped anchor an offensive line that averaged 41 pass yards and 335 rush yards per game while also averaging 29.6 points per game. Anderson had 135 pancake blocks on the season.

Season stats: Boyd did not record a reception this year as he was never able to recover from a pre-season shoulder injury that made him shut down his senior season before it even started.

Season stats: Beck was a part of a George Ranch defense that gave up 314 yards of total offense, 143 yards passing, a 55 percent completion percentage, and 22 points per game. he recorded an interception.

Season stats: Jones and Davis anchored a Euless Trinity defense that gave up 269 yards of total offense, including only 140 yards through the air and 21.6 points per game.

Jones finished his season with 97 total tackles (82 solo) with two INTs, 11 pass break ups, two forced fumbles, and a blocked punt.

Season stats: Frye finished his season with eight pass break ups, one INT, and four punt return touchdowns.

Season stats: Farrar anchored an offense that averaged 439 yards of total offense per game and 41 points per game. Travis averaged 132 yards per game rushing and 307 yards passing.

Season stats: Weaver tore his ACL in his first game of the season.

Season stats: Hendrickson's defense gave up 377 yards per game and 36 points per game. Hendrickson also gave up 202 yards rushing per game but forced 16 turnovers in 10 games.

Season stats: Hackett recorded 205 attempts for 1,212 yards and seven touchdowns. He also led his team in receiving catching six passes for 96 yards and a touchdown.

Season stats: Robinson finished his junior season with 37 receptions for 446 yards and three touchdowns with another 56 carries for 278 yards and four touchdowns. Robinson also took two punts to the house this season.

Season stats: Verhulst was injured most of the season (missed eight games) but his Plano East squad averaged 459 yards of total offense, including 216.5 yards passing and 243 yards rushing per game. They also averaged 40.7 points per game.

Season stats: Panazzolo booted 41 punts this year for 1,708 total yards (41.7 yards per punt). He had a long of 63 with 13 of his punts being pinned inside the 20.
