Texas Tech official visit: "First of all we had a good flight coming in here. All the family, my friends, my boy Cayden - basically my brother - got to join us so that made the visit 10 times better and I'm thankful that they let him come.

We started off, we get in the hotel, everybody is already welcoming. They're all happy that we're here and excited to see everybody. Not only are they showing love to me they're showing love to all my family. Coach (Zarnell) Fitch, he took my boy Cayden and I to get some food. So that right there was like dang, you know he really cares, he wants to build connections. So we got one of his favorite places - Spanky's - it was solid, it was solid. We got a ham and cheese sandwich that was like fried with cinnamon bread with some powdered sugar on it, it was so good.

Once we got in here we immediately went to the facilities, they gave us a little tour. Met coach Maxwell, Cole Maxwell, he's one of the realest guys you'll ever meet. Really cool guy. He was very helpful with everything. We just toured the facilities, I enjoyed everything I saw. You know, everybody is loving around here and I know it's not fake love. It's definitely real. Even from just the people walking on the streets, everybody is doing the 'Guns Up' or whatever every time they see you everybody is doing that. It doesn't matter where you're at if you're in a restaurant, you're walking, when they see you they're always doing it. Everybody is nice around here, greeting you.

Once again the facilities were very nice, the weight room. Plus they're getting like a whole 15,000 square foot weight room added on and a whole 'nother facility where you won't even have to walk outside to do anything, it's all in the building.

I met coach (Joey) McGuire, I met every last coach. (James) Blanchard, coach (C.J.) Ah You, the quarterbacks coach, everybody. All of those coaches, they all showed love and they really do love each and everybody in my family. They're very respectable men and that's who I would want my son to be around if I was a dad going into recruiting.

Coach McGuire was a really loving man, he was really cool. We got to see his house. Not many people do that and for him to trust us like that, that just shows that he cares. We met his family and everything, and you know just chilled and had snow cones. Just relaxed."
