Missouri City (TX) Ridge Point defensive back Gil Jackson has been committed to Texas Tech since early June and is a well rounded prospect added to Tech's growing 2025 recruiting class.
Jackson was in Lubbock for his official visit over the weekend and RedRaiderSports.com caught up with the talented corner after his stop on campus.
What was the weekend like for your official visit?
"It was exciting. We did a lot of eating in Lubbock. The first night, we went out to Main Event and had some fun there, then we went to coach McGuire's house and that was fun. We were just chilling with the teammates and all of the other groups.
Honestly, it was a lot of chilling and eating. It was exciting because of the way that the coaches treat each other and treat their players, you can see they're not putting on any kind of act right now."
