2023 Red Raiders in the NFL: Preseason Week Two

Preseason week two of the 2023 NFL season has come and gone. Several Red Raiders made an impact for their respective teams. Here is how each player performed this weekend...

ADRIAN FRYE, DB, NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Frye was credited with 4 tackles in the Saints 22-17 win.

BRODERICK WASHINGTON, DL, BALTIMORE RAVENS

Washington did not play in the Ravens loss.


CODY DAVIS, DB, NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Davis is currently on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list and did not suit up for the Patriots in their win vs Green Bay.

DAMARCUS FIELDS, CB, WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

Fields was not credited with any stats in the game.

DAWSON DEATON, OL, CLEVELAND BROWNS

Deaton is currently on the Browns' reserve/injured list.

ERIK EZUKANMA, WR, MIAMI DOLPHINS

Ezukanma had three receptions for 24 yards in the Dolphins win.

JACK ANDERSON, OL, NEW YORK GIANTS

Anderson played 27 offensive snaps and 2 special teams snaps for the Giants.

JAKEEM GRANT SR., WR, CLEVELAND BROWNS

Grant, who is coming back from his 2022 torn Achilles, has not played in either of Cleveland's first three preseason games.

JORDYN BROOKS, LB, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Brooks still hasn't appeared in any preseason games after tearing his ACL in January.

KAYLON GEIGER, WR, TAMPA BAY BUCANEERS

Geiger made one catch for 8 yards in the game.

KEKE COUTEE, WR, MIAMI DOLPHINS

Coutee returned two punts for 16 yards in the Dolphins win.

KERRY HYDER JR., DEFENSIVE END, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Hyder Jr. played 14 defensive snaps but was not credited with any stats in the game. He also suffered a shoulder injury that could sideline him for the next preseason game.

LE'RAVEN CLARK, OL, PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Clark played 34 offensive snaps in the Steelers win.

MARQUIS WATERS, DB, NEW YORK JETS

Waters played 39 defensive and 7 special teams snaps in the Jets loss. He was credited with two tackles in the game.

PATRICK MAHOMES, QB, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Mahomes went 10/15 for 105 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs win.

SAM EGUAVOEN, LB, NEW YORK JETS

Eguavoen was credited with 6 tackles and two tackles-for-loss in the Jets loss. In total he played 30 defensive snaps and 9 more on special teams.

SARODORICK THOMPSON, RB, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Thompson carried 11 times for 50 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks win. He also caught a pass for -5 yards.

TERENCE STEELE, OL, DALLAS COWBOYS

Steele is expected to be ready for the regular season, but likely won't play in preseason as he is coming off a torn ACL in 2022.

TREY WOLFF, PK, TENNESSEE TITANS

Wolff went 1/1 on field goals (22 yards) and 2/2 on extra points in the Titans win.

TYREE WILSON, DE, LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Wilson is back practicing from his foot injury suffered in November, but has not yet played in any preseason games.

ZECH MCPHEARSON, CB, PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

McPhearson was credited with 6 tackles, a pass defended, and he also returned a punt for 10 yards in the Eagles tie vs Cleveland. Unfortunately, he suffered a torn Achilles during the game, and is out for the season.
