Preseason week three of the 2023 NFL season has come and gone. Several Red Raiders made an impact for their respective teams. Here is how each player performed this weekend...
ADRIAN FRYE, DB, NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Frye was credited with 2 tackles and a pass defended in the Saints loss.
BRODERICK WASHINGTON, DL, BALTIMORE RAVENS
Washington did not play in the Ravens loss to Tampa Bay.
CODY DAVIS, DB, NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Davis is currently on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list and did not suit up for the Patriots in their loss to Tennessee.
DAMARCUS FIELDS, CB, WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
Fields was credited with 3 tackles in the Commanders win over Cincinnati. He played 26 snaps on defense and 2 on special teams.
On Monday, Fields was released from the team heading into the regular season.
DAWSON DEATON, OL, CLEVELAND BROWNS
Deaton is currently on the Browns' reserve/injured list.
ERIK EZUKANMA, WR, MIAMI DOLPHINS
Ezukanma had 2 receptions for 15 yards and 1 tackle in the Dolphins loss to Jacksonville.
JACK ANDERSON, OL, NEW YORK GIANTS
Anderson did not play in the most recent Giants preseason game due to injury.
On Monday, he was waived heading into the regular season.
JAKEEM GRANT SR., WR, CLEVELAND BROWNS
Grant, who came back from his 2022 torn Achilles, returned the opening kickoff in the Browns/Chiefs game 23 yards. Unfortunately, he suffered a ruptured patellar tendon on the return, was carted off the field and is out for the season.
JORDYN BROOKS, LB, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
Brooks did not appear in any preseason games after tearing his ACL in January, but is expected to be ready for the start of the NFL season.
KAYLON GEIGER, WR, TAMPA BAY BUCANEERS
Geiger made two catches for 14 yards in the Bucs win.
On Monday, he was waived heading into the regular season.
KEKE COUTEE, WR, MIAMI DOLPHINS
Coutee returned three kickoffs for 77 yards and one punt for 18 yards in the Dolphins loss.
On Monday, he was cut heading into the regular season.
KERRY HYDER JR., DEFENSIVE END, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Hyder Jr. was credited with 4 tackles, 1 pass defended and 1 quarterback hit in the 49ers loss to the Chargers.
LE'RAVEN CLARK, OL, PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Clark played 26 offensive snaps in the Steelers win.
On Monday, he was cut heading into the regular season.
MARQUIS WATERS, DB, NEW YORK JETS
Waters played 28 defensive and 7 special teams snaps in the Jets win. He was credited with one tackle in the game.

PATRICK MAHOMES, QB, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Mahomes did not play in the final Chiefs preseason game.
SAM EGUAVOEN, LB, NEW YORK JETS
Eguavoen was credited with 2 tackles and 1 tackle-for-loss in the Jets win. In total he played 15 defensive snaps and 15 more on special teams.
On Monday, he was cut heading into the regular season.
SARODORICK THOMPSON, RB, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
Thompson carried 7 times for 17 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks loss. He also caught 3 passes for 16 yards.
TERENCE STEELE, OL, DALLAS COWBOYS
Steele is expected to be ready for the regular season, but did not play in preseason as he is coming off a torn ACL in 2022.
TREY WOLFF, PK, TENNESSEE TITANS
Wolff was waived last week in favor of veteran kicker Michael Badgley and was not with the team for this weekend's game.
TYREE WILSON, DE, LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
Wilson saw his first NFL action, playing 12 snaps vs the Cowboys. He was credited with 1 tackle, and his PFF grade of 70.5 ranked fifth on the Raiders defense.
ZECH MCPHEARSON, CB, PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
McPhearson suffered a torn Achilles earlier in the preseason, and is out for the season.
