The Red Raiders also have non-conference scheduling agreements with Missouri State (Sept. 1) and Houston (Sept. 15) for 2018, but it's likely that the MSU game will be moved in order to accommodate the game against the Rebels.

Texas Tech has played Ole Miss five times in its history, two regular season meetings and three in the postseason. The Rebels lead the all-time series 3-2.

This is the latest high-profile non-conference opponent lined up for Texas Tech as the program also has series planned against Arizona State (2016-17), Houston (2017-18, 2021-22), Arizona (2019-2020), NC State (2022, 2027) and Oregon (2023-24).
