2023 Red Raiders in the NFL: Preseason Week One

Preseason week one of the 2023 NFL season has come and gone. Several Red Raiders made an impact for their respective teams. Here is how each player performed this weekend...

ADRIAN FRYE, DB, NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Frye was not credited with any stats in the Saints 26-24 win.

BRODERICK WASHINGTON, DL, BALTIMORE RAVENS

Washington, who earlier in the week signed a three-year contract extension, did not play in the Ravens 20-19 win.

CODY DAVIS, DB, NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Davis is currently on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list and did not suit up for the Patriots in their loss to Houston.

DAMARCUS FIELDS, CB, WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

Fields was credited with three tackles in the game. He played 21 snaps on defense and 2 snaps on special teams.

DAWSON DEATON, OL, CLEVELAND BROWNS

Deaton is currently on the Browns' reserve/injured list.

ERIK EZUKANMA, WR, MIAMI DOLPHINS

Ezukanma had two carries for 52 rushing yards and three receptions for 15 yards in the Dolphins' loss to Atlanta.

JACK ANDERSON, OL, NEW YORK GIANTS

Anderson played 27 offensive snaps and 4 special teams snaps for the Giants.

JAKEEM GRANT SR., WR, CLEVELAND BROWNS

Grant, who is back from his 2022 torn Achilles, has not played in either of Cleveland's first two preseason games.

JORDYN BROOKS, LB, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Brooks is currently on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list after tearing his ACL in January.

KAYLON GEIGER, WR, TAMPA BAY BUCANEERS

Geiger made four catches for 50 yards and added 2 rushing yards in the game. He also returned a punt for four yards and lost a fumble.

KEKE COUTEE, WR, MIAMI DOLPHINS

Coutee started the week with the Saints, got cut on Friday, and quickly picked up by the Dolphins on Sunday.

KERRY HYDER JR., DEFENSIVE END, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Hyder Jr. was credited with two tackles and a tackle-for-loss in the 49ers' loss.

LE'RAVEN CLARK, OL, PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Clark played 29 offensive snaps in the Steelers win.

MARQUIS WATERS, DB, NEW YORK JETS

Waters played 28 defensive and 7 special teams snaps in the Jets win. He was credited with three tackles.

PATRICK MAHOMES, QB, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Mahomes went 2/2 for 15 yards through the air and added a 5 yard rush for the Chiefs.

SAM EGUAVOEN, LB, NEW YORK JETS

Eguavoen was credited with one tackle in the Jets win. In total he played 14 defensive snaps and 9 more on special teams.

SARODORICK THOMPSON, RB, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Thompson carried three times for 14 yards in the Seahawks win.

TERENCE STEELE, OL, DALLAS COWBOYS

Steele is expected to be ready for the regular season, but likely won't play in preseason as he is coming off a torn ACL in 2022.

TREY WOLFF, PK, TENNESSEE TITANS

Wolff missed his only field goal attempt - from 48 yards - of the game but also made his only extra point for the Titans.

TYREE WILSON, DE, LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Wilson is still recovering from the foot injury he suffered last November and has not yet practiced for the Raiders.

McPhearson was credited with two tackles and he also returned two punts for 10 yards in the game.
