kick into full gear.

University officials are expected to formally announce The Campaign for Fearless
Champions on Friday afternoon. Documents obtained this week by
RedRaiderSports.com through a Public Information Act request describe the
project as a "comprehensive athletics campaign that will substantially and
significantly impact all 17 sports" by enhancing facilities, investing in
scholarships and endowing the university's Fearless Champions Leadership
Academy.

coming to Jones AT&T Stadium ]
The campaign will feature 25 facility projects in total -- some of these have
already been funded and completed -- and every sport, from softball to
basketball, will be impacted.
The cornerstone of these facility upgrades will be the renovation to the south
end of Jones AT&T Stadium and construction of indoor facilities for both
football and track and field.
The planned South Endzone Building will feature up to 30 suites, flanked by a
pair of video boards and topped by ribbon boards. The three-story structure
could potentially include, as indicated in renderings obtained by
RedRaiderSports.com, an athletics dining facility and a Hall of Fame.

The indoor facilities for football and track and field will essentially be one structure even though both sports will have separate areas. This complex
will be located where the Athletic Training Facility -- commonly referred to as
"The Bubble" -- currently sits.
Eight of the facility projects included in the campaign have already been funded
and built -- the Jones Stadium video board and north colonnade, for example --
but most have not.
Texas Tech will hold a press conference at Noon Friday to announce the campaign.
