Texas Tech offers former Arizona State commit Daniel Mading
Chris Beard and the Texas Tech basketball program have reportedly extended a scholarship offer to three-star forward Daniel Mading. The 6-foot-8 prospect was at one point committed to Arizona State - he also had offers from UConn, Florida, Kansas and LSU at the time - but he parted ways with the Sun Devils in June.
Mading, who was born in Sudan but grew up in Australia, had also been offered by Tubby Smith's Red Raider staff last year prior to Mading's pledge to ASU.

Texas Tech is expected to be very active in the 2017 recruiting cycle as the team will have five scholarship seniors on its 2016-17 roster.
