TCU knocks off Texas Tech 85-80

LUBBOCK, Texas - Edvinas Ruzgas scored 24 points to lead TCU to an 85-80 victory over Texas Tech on Tuesday night.
TCU (10-5) led by as much as 16 with 11:37 left in the game, but Tech battled back to cut the lead to four with 5:00 left with the help of Mike Singletary and TCU's foul troubles. Singletary scored 22 points, 10 of those from the free-throw line. TCU finished with 20 fouls.

Back-to-back 3-point shots by Ruzgas and Keion Mitchell gave TCU a 72-64 lead, effectively putting the game out of reach for Texas Tech (10-5).
Kevin Langford scored 14 points for TCU, leaving him one point shy of 1,000 points in his career.
Alan Voskuil also scored 22 for Texas Tech. Nick Okorie had 13 and John Roberson 11.
