Whenthelineisplayingasbadastheywereinthisgame,yourplaybookbecomesextremelycondensed.However,whentheheadcoachoroffensivecoordinatorcallsadrawplayon3rdand15downby21pointsinthesecondquarter,thewrongmessageisbeingsenttotheteam.TheRedRaiderscalledseveralrunplaysfacinganumbersdeficit,whichwouldseemtounderminetheconceptofaspreadpassingoffense.

TheprotectionwasawfulandSethDoege'sathleticismisnotatalevelwhereimprovisationaloffensecanbecomeastrength.Theinterceptiontoadefensivetacklewasabadplay.MichaelBrewerputtogetheranicetouchdowndriveagainstOSU'sthirdteam.

RunningBack

Asaunit,theyhadsomerunsthatwerebetterthantheirblockingandmighthavebeenthebrightspotonoffense.KennyWilliamsendedupwitharespectableoutingof14carriesfor78yards.

WideReceiver

Thegrouphadacoupleofkeydrops,butDarrinMooreshowedupwellwith9catchesfor140yardsandatouchdown.TysonWilliamsandEricWarddidn'tlightupthestatsheet,butmadesomeniceplays.

OffensiveLine

Itbecomesextremelydifficulttogradetheremainingoffensewhenthingsneverreallygetstartedupfront.LaAdrianWaddlegotofftoahorriblestart,whichincludedaninjury,thatcontributedtotheearlyhole.BeauCarpenterreallystruggledinthefirsthalfwithmovement.DevericGallingtondidn'taddmuchintherungame.Le'RavenClarkandTerryMcDanielcontinuedtobethemostconsistent,butalsosufferedsomedifficultyonacoupleplays.IreallylikewhatJaredKastershowedlateasarunblocker,buttosaythisisadayhewouldliketoforgetisanunderstatement.Thetwoblockedpuntsonhissideanderrantsnapresultedin21OSUpoints.Totheircredit,theTechOLwasabletoputsomesolidzoneblockingplaysonfilm,especiallyKasterandClark,whichcouldbeapositivesignfortherunninggamefuture.

DEFENSE

ThebookonTech'sdefensehasbecomefrightfullynarrow.Offtackleandperimeterrunplaysmixedwithplay-action.Thatisaboutallthey'veseenthelastfiveweeks.NothingreallychangedabouttheirperformanceexceptOSUhadaquarterbackthatcouldcompleteadownfieldpass.Youcanlargelycutandpastelastweek'sPost-Mortemsection.Baylorwillbringthesamegameplan.

DefensiveLine

Thismightaswellbecalledthebrokenrecordsection.KerryHyderandDelvonSimmonscontinuedtoscareawayrunattemptsinthemiddle,whileJacksonRichards,DartwanBushandBrandenJacksonwerepoundedwithoutsidezoneallowingvariouslevelsofsuccess.AstheRedRaidersgotalittlefatigued,theCowboysstartedpoachingSimmonsforsomenicegainers.
