Euless Trinity cornerback lists Texas Tech in top three

Texas Tech has a few more defensive back spots available for its 2017 recruiting class, and one of the prospects at the top of its board is Euless (Texas) Trinity cornerback John Davis.

Davis feels strongly about Texas Tech, too. His recently-released top three included the Red Raiders along with Kansas State and Utah.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect said the big reasons that the three programs made the cut were how he would fit overall at the school, the educational opportunities – he wants to major in political science or astronomy – and his relationship with the coaches. He said he wants to go to a place where he feels comfortable.
