Busy months ahead at Red Raider Sports

On behalf of our entire staff, I would like to thank you for your support of RedRaiderSports.com and for your role in making this one of the fastest growing college team-sites on the Rivals network. Signing Day has come and gone and we were there to bring you all of the action. But that's not all there is here at RRS, not by a long shot. We have loads of new subscribers and many of you don't know what to expect moving forward, so I want to let you know what's coming up over the next few weeks and months.
2010 Wrap-up: Tommy Tuberville didn't have much time with which to work, but he and his staff put together very good 2010 class that emphasized needs on the defensive line and secondary, as well as injecting a significant amount of speed into the roster. RRS will continue to provide the best coverage on the 2010 signees anywhere. In the coming days, look for more analysis, breakdowns and features on the latest batch of Red Raiders.

Focus on 2011: In his press conference on Wednesday, Tuberville said that he spent all of last week visiting in-state high schools of top juniors. Recruiting is a year-round activity, and he and his staff are already focused on the 2011 class. RRS will cover those efforts every step of the way. From covering new offers that are extended, to the program's upcoming junior days -- the first is little more than a week away, Feb. 13.
Tuberville's First Spring: The Red Raiders will kick-off their first spring practice of the Tuberville era in a little over a month. Who will win the quarterback competition between Steven Sheffield and Taylor Potts? How different will the defense look? Who will be lining up at a different positions? RRS will be your complete source for all things spring.
Pursuit of the Postseason: Pat Knight's squad is still in the mix for a postseason berth, and the next month will make or break Texas Tech's chances. That journey begins on Saturday with a home game against Oklahoma State, and RRS will be there -- as always -- in full force. We are your Texas Tech hoops headquarters as we preview and review each and every game, provide postgame audio and much more.
To all of our subscribers who make RRS the best thing going in coverage of Texas Tech athletics -- thank you! We know you'll want to stick around another year, and we hope you'll invite a few of your friends to sign up as well.
