Beck showing high interest in Tech

Texas Tech offered Richmond (Texas) George Ranch cornerback Adam Beck

in May, and the 2017 prospect maintains that the Red Raiders are "up there" in
his recruitment.
WHAT'S NEXT?:
With Beck's improvement this season, it is expected that his summer will be
hectic again. Last summer, he saw a whirlwind of attention coming his way after
attending several satellite camps. Now, teams know what he's capable of and are
waiting to see his junior film as a finished product. A visit to the south
plains is something he'll push to set up when his team's season is complete.
George Ranch's third round matchup will be against Bryan this Saturday in
Houston. Beck hopes Texas Tech will be able to play its bowl game down in
Houston, so he can watch them up close and personal for the first time.
IN HIS WORDS:
"I definitely like Tech because they personally watched me in the spring and
offered me on spot once they came out. I have a good relationship with each and
every coach. They show me lots of love. I get a handwritten letter every day.
They're definitely one of the schools that will play a big role when the time
comes" said Beck. "On the defensive side, I feel like the secondary could use a
little help. I feel like I can fit in perfect, and coach (Kevin Curtis) has been
telling me that if I made the decision I could play as a freshman."
OUR REACTION:
Texas Tech is set to graduate the bulk of its defensive backfield in 2016 and
2017, so look for the Red Raiders to address that position in a big way in 2017.
Beck has already racked up a number of quality early offers, and Texas Tech
hopes their early entry into his recruitment will pay off in the end.
