New Caney cornerback Cale Sanders Jr. picked up his offer from Texas Tech back in June. Since then he has continued developing his relationship with the coaching staff, and things have really picked up recently with September 1st being the first day college coaches could directly contact 2021 recruits.

... Sanders Jr. announced his offer from Tech on June 3rd, and Tech remains his only offer so far.

... Sanders Jr's main recruiter at Tech is cornerbacks coach Julius "Juice" Brown.

Relationship with staff: "Our relationship is going good, they hit me up and sent me a few edits that were cool. The coaches are all great, I’ve been in contact with a few but the main one is coach Juice. We’ve texted a few times he’s a good dude for sure."

Why Tech is recruiting him: "They're recruiting me at cornerback and they like my speed and quick twitch ability."

Top priorities: "How the coaches are, how the player atmosphere is, those are the main things I'm looking for and also playing time/possibility."

Upcoming visits: "I have no visits planned, just the one to Tech. I do plan on a visit again probably during a bye week because of the travel distance."

Other schools: "Only people who text me are Texas Tech."
