"It's a great school, I know a lot of people who go there, so the fact that they offered is a blessing because I could have a chance to play at a high level with people I know"
— Jahari Rogers

Staying in TX: Rogers says that staying in the state of Texas for college is "kind of" important to him but not really, he simply wants to a place where he feels comfortable at. He's also looking for a school with a great education.

Visit season: The 6-foot, 170 pound athlete says that he does want to visit Texas Tech now that he has the offer. He's not sure on the exact date yet but wants to visit "soon". Rogers also plans to visit either Oklahoma or TCU this coming weekend, he has yet to decide which though.

Commitment: Rogers mentioned that he plans on heading into his senior year committed somewhere, so expect him to take official visits this spring and summer.

Other offers: Other than Texas Tech, Rogers holds early offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Illinois, Louisville, TCU and others.
