Metoyer, Taylor's top receiver, had 10 receptions for 116 yards in the Wildcats win over Chapel Hill.

David Bush John Tyler, Quarterback

The Lions quarterback accounted for 237 yards, completing 14 of 22 passes for 194 yards, in John Tyler's 28-14 win over Longview, which ended a 9-game JT losing skid to its East Texas rival.

Anthony Morgan Carthage, Quarterback

Morgan completed 15 of 20 passes for 310 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 47-42 victory against Lindale.

Hunter Holland Carthage, Running back

Carthage running back rushed for 253 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Bulldogs won their second straight game of the 2010 football season, beating Lindale.

Cortlyn Ware Carthage, Wide receiver

The Panthers running back rushed for 198 yards on 23 carries and scored 2 times as Alba-Golden improved to 2-0 after a winless 2009 season.

Beau Brewer New Diana, /Running back, Defensive back

Brewer rushed for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns as New Diana defeated Elysian Fields 48-19. Defensively, he was credited with 17 tackles.

The victory improved the two-time state champion's record at Bulldog Stadium to 13-0 now in its third season at the stadium.
