Inside The Huddle: Army Recruiting Updates

Patrick Joseph, OL

As you all know, 3-star OL, Patrick is taking an unofficial visit at Army these next two days and it pretty much will come down to Army, Arizona and Arizona State ... at least that is how Joseph and his dad pointed out last week.
We will have much more on Joseph's visit to Army later this week.

Abdul Majeed, DB

Majeed was busy over the weekend, attending the Rutgers Friday Knight Skills Camp and the Steve Addazio (Temple) Football Camp on Sunday.

"Both camps were very competitive and the coaches did a great job," Majeed said to Scarletnation.com. "The feedback I received from the coaches at both camps was very positive.

The Rutgers coaches told me they felt I did a great job; they were impressed and they like my feet. The Temple coaches and the coaches from other schools working the camp said they were impressed with me as well. I'm just going to keep working."

Majeed is headed to Purdue later this week, with a trip to Penn State following that.

Xavier Menifield, RB
The running back out of Chatsworth (Calif) Sierra Canyon High School just picked up an offer from Northwestern to go with his offers from Army and Air Force.

Hunter Knighton, DL

Needless to say, Knighton's recruiting has picked up big time. "I'm still looking to make a decision in fall," shared the 3-star defensive tackle with GoBlackKnights.com. "Right now I am taking some unofficial visits this summer. I'm waiting to here from UNC and Michigan State. I will be visiting Northwestern Boston College, USF and I visited Rutgers today (6/7).

Does the defensive prospect plan on visiting Army? "No I haven't been there yet, but I have a friend, Tom Shade who is a freshman there and plays lacrosse there now."
