Calif. DE takes in first day of NU football camp

Prospects from all over the country attended Nebraska's first session of Big Red Football School this week. Including Salinas (Calif.) Palma defensive end Jack Powers who traveled from the west coast to Nebraska to kick off his summer camp schedule. In all, over 22 different states were represented including California who had a large presence, literally.

The 6-foot-6, 259-pound Powers got the opportunity to be coached up by Nebraska's defensive staff on the field and get a feel for the facilities and tradition that are on campus while he was off of it.
