Oregon rising fast for 4* WR

Oregon has not been recruiting Dwayne Stanfordfor long, but now that they have, things are heating up fast. Duck Sports Authority caught up with the Cincinnati, Ohio product to get the latest.

"This kind of worked out perfectly because earlier, once I really started to get recruited my junior year, I always wanted to go to Oregon," Stanford began. "I was hoping that would be a school that recruited me heavy. They really didn't recruit me heavy until about two weeks ago when I got a call from Coach Frost saying something about their situation and how they wanted a big receiver. He felt that I could be that guy. He wanted me. So he was just telling me a lot of great things. Oregon climbed up my list immediately because of what I already knew and how much I already like them. They climbed my list the minute I got the call."

DSA asked the Taft high school standout what attracted him to Oregon.

"Coach Kelly has been able to get them great national exposure," replied Stanford. "They have great uniforms. I've been out to Oregon once and it was a great place and I just like what they're doing. They run a spread offense and they like to throw it around a lot. Me being a wide receiver I definitely like that."
