Wallace talks OSU visit

Oregon State hosted their very first verbal commit from the 2012 class this past weekend as San Jose (Calif.) Oak Grove cornerback Cleveland Wallace made the trip to Corvallis. While the game didn't go as he had hoped, he walked away with a better feeling of the Beavers as other teams try to swoop in on his recruitment.

"The visit was great," Wallace said. "Yeah, even though they didn't win it really didn't change anything. Rashaad Reynolds was my host, but I basically hung out with the entire team."

Wallace is a thoughtful, well-spoken young man who has a lot to think about now as teams have started burning up the phone lines. Arizona State and Boise State are two teams that continue to work on recruiting him even though he's committed to Oregon State.
