'Zuk' knows West Virginia's winning tradition
Although Wylie High School (Wylie, Tx.) defensive lineman Azuka Akozar lives over 1,100 miles away from Morgantown, the junior is familiar with the winning tradition of the West Virginia football program. And a recent scholarship offer from the Mountaineers has put the school in his top three.
Akozar, a quick and strong defensive tackle prospect, had gathered offers from Rice, North Texas, Houston, UT San Antonio and Air Force. But the 6-foot-1, 250-pound junior was both surprised and excited when he received word on the tender from the Mountaineers.
