New offers for WR Wilson
Dublin (Ohio) Jerome wide receiver Cameron Wilson is one the top receiver in the state of Ohio and his offer list is starting to show. Syracuse was one of the most recent teams to throw their hat in the ring for the prospect.
Wilson, 6-foot-2, 190 pounds talked about his new Syracuse offer.
"Syracuse offered me a week ago," Wilson said. "I was pretty happy about it they are a good school and they have a good program. I was happy about it."
Despite being interested in the Orange Wilson does not know much about them at this time.
"I am not very familiar with them I will probably visit them. I did go to their game against Cincinnati and they beat them pretty good. I think they are a good program."
Does Wilson have any plans to get to Syracuse?
"I am trying to get up to Syracuse in the spring sometime."
Tyrone Wheatley is recruiting Wilson for the Orange and even though the two have not spoken much Wilson does think the coach is pretty cool.
"I have only talked with him on the phone once, but he seemed like a real cool guy."
Besides Syracuse there were two other programs that came in with scholarship offers.
"Cincinnati and Vanderbilt also came in with offers. I think South Florida and Tennessee are close to offering."
A quick decision is not expected from Wilson, but at the same time he does not want to wait to long.
"I would like to make my choice probably before my senior season."
