After AU visit, Wright ready to decide

Carver (Columbus, Ga.) four-star defensive tackle Gabe Wright estimated he had visited Auburn "20 times" in the past, including a trip to the Plains last weekend for the Tigers' celebration of the 2010 BCS National Championship.

He was back in Auburn this weekend, but the trip was a little different from the others.

"I didn't pay a dime," the 6-foot-3, 275-pound Wright said. "Everything was paid for."

Wright was in Auburn on an official visit, the final one he will take. Wright had already taken ones to Alabama (Jan. 7-9) and Tennessee (Jan. 14-16). He won't need to take any others before making a decision.

"It feels good to get my last official visit out of the way," Wright said. "I put Auburn last for a reason. I was always told to put my favorite school last so you can get the best feeling last."

Wright has named Auburn his frontrunner for the majority of his recruitment. He said the Tigers only helped their cause over the weekend. He will choose Auburn, Alabama or Tennessee Wednesday, National Signing Day. Depth along the defensive line is something that he would heavily considering when making a choice....
