Louisiana Tech lands its quarterback of the future

Nick Isham made his decision quickly following his visit to the University of Pennsylvania of the Ivy League. Isham described his visits to Louisiana Tech, New Mexico State, and Penn as great. But ultimately, Tech would win the services of the talented gun slinger from California.

Following his visit to Tech, Isham told me Tech was his favorite, but his parents weren't convinced. Isham, who is extremely close to his family, said that after making all three visits it was clear to them that Tech was the place for Nick.

Isham wants to study communications, business, or journalism at Tech. After college, if football isn't the future for him, Isham said he possibly could begin making music as his dad has done or possibly a future in journalism, maybe like another Tech quarterback Terry Bradshaw?

Isham who hails from a suburb of Malibu, Ca. said during his visit to Penn, which is in the city of Philadelphia, that the city was probably not the place for him because he is used to his space. Ruston was the place for Isham he said because of a combination of things, the school, the location, the people, and the football program.

As the alumni of Louisiana Tech always say, Ruston, La. is a special place and Nick Isham saw that.
