West Virginia was at my last game. They spoke to my dad, but I'm not even sure where that is going to go, but either way my commitment to Army is solid.

"And with the way the season is going for Army, it just makes my commitment that much better … that much sweeter. I know I'm coming into a team that wants to win and has had success this year and I know it will continue that way."

The prospect out of Sauquoit (NY) Sauquoit Valley High School will be joining several recruits this weekend on the West Point campus, as Army host academy rival Air Force.

"I'm coming up for the Air Force game, with his father and two grandfathers," declares Evans, who has been keeping a watchful eye on the season of his future teammates. "Outstanding - I always like to see them win and the games they lost were against top programs."

"Players like Josh McNary and Jared Hassin are both are getting national attention and I've been seeing them a lot of TV and in the news."

Evans' pledge to Army hasn't stopped the persistency of other programs who continue to express their interest the lineman's talents.

"Other schools are still knocking on my door," reiterates Evans. "West Virginia was at my last game. They spoke to my dad, but I'm not even sure where that is going to go, but either way my commitment to Army is solid."

"Everyone has been supportive and excited as well about my commitment … I will be wearing my Army gear on Saturday."
