Daniels making up for lost time
Having missed the first three games of the season due to injury, Keondrick Daniels is quickly making up for lost time.
The Lincoln (Fla.) High School wide receiver is averaging has hauled in 17 passes in only three games and is continuing to bring in interest from college recruiters around the country.
Daniels fractured his ankle on the final day of two-a-days but has returned to stack up 251 receiving yards and three touchdowns over the last three weeks.
The 5-foot-10, 160-pounder caught five passes for 50 yards last week in the Trojans 24-10 win over Wakulla.
"It was good," Daniels said. "I was able to get a couple more touches early in the game so I could get in the game better. It was a pretty fun game to play. This was my second year to play and beat Wakulla."
Lincoln is 3-3 on the year and will host Madison County tonight.
"I think it's going to be a very hard game," Daniels said. "We've just got to play harder than them. I know they are going to come out playing."
Daniels has already picked up scholarship offers from several schools from around the country. Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida Atlantic, Illinois, Iowa State, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, South Carolina, South Florida, Southern Miss and Central Florida have all offered the Sunshine State star.
