Patrick already has one teammate on MSU's roster and another one committed in this year's class.

"I really like Mississippi State," Patrick said. "My teammate (C.J. Johnson) committed there and Josh Boyd used to be my teammate. That would be a good thing to be able to play with guys I know. Those are guys that I have played with and I wouldn't be alone."

Patrick stated that Johnson, who was the Bulldogs second commitment back in October, has not recruited him much simply because he does not have to.
