DE, Luetjen discusses his top four schools
What is also clear and concise when it comes to the defensive end out of Hennessey (Okla.) Hennessey High School, is that he will be receiving tons of interest as he starts to hit the combine and camp circuit, along his play during his upcoming senior season.
With one offer (Army) already in hand, the 6-foot-3 ½ 255 pounder is developing an impressive list of college that are actively recruiting him.
"I have interest coming from OSU (Oklahoma State), Army, Iowa State, Texas Tech, Arizona, Duke, Georgia Tech and Kansas," Luetjen shares with GoBlackKnights.com.
"I also received a verbal offer from Dartmouth."
"I'm going for sure to a Rivals combine on the 24th in Oklahoma City," states Luetjen.
Luetjen has been invited to Junior Day events at both Texas Tech and Tulsa, along with the possibility of making a trip to West Point this summer. "I think my plans are to come there this summer where juniors can come up and stay there to see what the lifestyle is like at West Point," says the talented defender who is being recruited by Army's Tucker Waugh.
Luetjen indicated that he will be at his customary defensive end spot, but will be on the offensive line, where he will most likely offensive tackle. "Some colleges have talked to me about center," declares Oklahoma native. "I played center my freshmen year and tackle for the first time last year.
It is that level of versatility that has the Black Knights highly interested in Luetjen. "Army is looking me for several positions," confirms Luetjen, whose brother Matt is a 2010 commit to Army.
So, who is currently high on his list? "Right now it's Army, Georgia Tech is high and I would say Arizona and Texas Tech are also high on my list," declares Luetjen.
GoBlackKnights.com will continue to follow Luetjen throughout his senior year.
