Three-star MLB makes the call

The tackling machine that is three-star linebacker Victor Burnett (6-1, 225, 4.65) from Culver City, Calif., decided on what school he is going to take his tackling skills to continue his football and his academic career.

Washington is the lucky school that Burnett chose over a host of other offers.

"I chose Washington because I'm feeling the coaching staff," Burnett said. "There is an opportunity to play at Mike linebacker next year and all the progression they are showing.

The Huskies land a player who earned a spot on the Rivals.com California Preseason Top 100 team landing as the Golden State's No. 55 prospect at any position.
