Brose, Derrick Mays is a legit prospect in the 200. He as 4th in the 5A 200, behind Tech's Markus Henderson. He is a legit threat for a medal in that race in 2009. Tech has a huge need for sprinters right now, with Skye Green flunking out and LaVorick Williams quitting after one whole week on the team. Mays would help immensely in building a competitive 4X100 relay.
I don't know as much about LaAdrian Waddle, except he is one huge human being. I do know it is very hard to compete in both football and the weight throwing events - at least at the D-I level.
