Much more of a trickle in process in track and field. The actual signing period for track does not close until Aug. 1. A lot of kids wait until the spring state track meet, hoping to improve their chances of more scholarship. I do expect to see Tech announce the first several signings either late this week or early next. I think there will be enough kids sign to make a sizeable release fairly quickly.
Incidentally, I saw on the TAMU site that the Aggies announced an 18 person class, 10 women and 8 men. One kid who I was very interested in was Bonnie Richardson, the kid who won A state all by herself for Rochelle. In the press box at her regional meet last year, there was a lot of discussion about whether a major D-1 program would take a chance of a raw kid like Bonnie. I guess TAMU did!
