Versatile junior athlete getting noticed
Plano (Texas) East junior Denzelle White had a somewhat atypical junior season when it comes to helping him be recruited. The 6-foot-3, 192-pound athlete played out of position at wide receiver due to need and also missed a few games due to injury. However, it has not stopped schools from finding the Dallas-area standout.
White is fully recovered now and has piqued the interest of several colleges. Including in that group is an in-state school that seems to be recruiting him the hardest.
"I haven't gotten any offers just yet, but I've been hearing a lot from schools," said White. "Texas A&M is the main one I'm hearing from, really. I've been getting a lot of stuff from Virginia, Clemson, Oklahoma and New Mexico State, too."
White says that the Aggies have not come out and said that they plan to offer him, but one could be coming soon.
