Kliff Kingsbury's Friday press conference to announce his inaugural coaching staff had the same feel as a National Signing Day press conference.

After weeks of sorting through rumors and piecing things together, by the time the press conference came around there weren't any surprises. Just a packet with each of the coaches' names, the position they will coach and their professional biography.

But the beauty of a head coach's press conference is all the little details they'll dish out on their assistants and ultimately they open themselves up for questions on other topics. It adds color to the supplemental packet.

Why was Sonny Cumbie the coach Kingsbury chose to retain? What kind of defense will Matt Wallerstedt run? How does the head coach define a co-defensive coordinator?

Those were the things answered Friday.
