Tech nearly claws back
When you shoot three-of-15 from the 3-point line and have a low shooting percentage across the board, it's tough to win games. Texas Tech learned this against an Alabama team from a comparable Southeastern Conference in what was ultimately a 66-62 loss.
But where other teams would have packed it in trailing by 20 points until the 11:06 mark of the second half, the Red Raiders dug in deep and learned what head coach Chris Walker's high pressure defense can do.
Tech (5-3) chiseled its way back into the game and had the chance to tie the game if it could have made just one more 3-pointer.
