Blake adding interest, names TCU as 'dream school'
Princeton (Texas) quarterback Jourdan Blake wasted no time grasping a new offense in a new state in new surroundings.
After moving from North Carolina to the Lone Star State this year, he was asked to lead his new team in a tough district and wasted no time.
In addition to throwing for 1,647 yards (61 percent completion percentage) and 16 touchdowns, Blake also leads his team in rushing with 791 yards on 85 carries (9.31 yards per carry) with nine touchdowns on the ground. In doing so, he's led his team to an 8-1 mark and has Princeton primed for a solid playoff run.
"The coaches welcomed me and they tried to instill the offense in me," Blake said. "I have a group of 32 seniors so that's really helped and for me, stepping up and being a leader, having those 32 guys really helps you."
The son of John Blake - the former Dallas Cowboys, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Nebraska assistant - stepped right into his new role and college coaches have taken notice...
