From the minute Sioux Falls (S.D.) Washington safety Nathan Gerry stepped foot on campus for Nebraska's spring game in April he knew he wanted to be a Husker.

NU didn't officially offer Gerry until a few weeks later, but after getting to spend some quality one-on-one time with head coach Bo Pelini at the Big Red Weekend the South Dakota native decided to pull the trigger on his commitment.
