Kentucky athlete visits Eugene
The Oregon Ducks had four uncommitted recruits witness their latest home win. One player committed to another school was on hand as well. Duck Sports Authority recently spoke to three-star Athlete Jon Davis after he made a surprise visit to Eugene.
Davis is as versatile a player as they come. At 6-foot-3 and 233 pounds, Davis has the size to play just about anywhere on the field. And that's just what he does. Davis plays tight end, running back, defensive end, linebacker and could even play slot receiver if needed. As a matter of fact, some people seem to feel he is best suited as a safety at the college level. But the Ducks have a plan for Davis and so they flew the Kentucky commit out to Eugene so that he could take a look at what Oregon has to offer.
"The flight was kind of long but it was alright. Once we got to Eugene we met the players at the hotel and had dinner," said Davis. "When we woke up we went and visited all of the facilities and stuff which were really nice. Then we went back and went to the team's pre game meal.
