Carter checks out Iowa
Ohio cornerback Tamani Carter has held a scholarship offer from the Iowa Hawkeyes for some time now, but did not have a chance to visit campus until this past weekend. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Carter, who attends Pickerington Central High School, was impressed by what he saw in Iowa City on Friday.
Carter made the visit with his mother, who also went with him to Stanford earlier this summer, and the two had a chance to not only see the football side of things, but also get to know more about the academics at the University of Iowa.

As a junior, Carter collected 48 tackles and five interceptions, including one that he returned for a touchdown.
