Parents support decision to sign with AU
When Hoover wide receiver Jaylon Denson received an offer from Auburn Saturday, he wanted to commit. His mother, Tarell Denson, wanted him to do the same.
But the two wanted to include a third person in the decision. They wanted to talk it over with Jaylon's father, Ronnie Denson.
"We don't make decisions like this without his input," Tarell Denson said.
Ronnie Denson however, couldn't make it to Auburn's camp Saturday. The soon-to-be lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army is currently stationed in Iraq.
"We knew it would be okay (if Jaylon committed), but we wanted a minute to fill (his father) in and experience it as a whole, as a family, as much as we could with him being in Iraq," said Tarell Denson. "We wanted to commit right when Jaylon got the offer, but we didn't want to leave his father out. He's our man. He's the man in our home."
Jaylon and his mother left Auburn Saturday and immediately contacted Ronnie Denson...
